Dr. Bailey obtained her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. Following graduation, she practiced general dentistry for eight years. Her orthodontic specialist training was completed at Washington Hospital Center and Children's National Medical Center, in Washington, DC.

Dr. Bailey's years of experience as a general dentist provide a unique understanding of the multi-disciplinary team approach to oral health. Additionally, her sense of humor, Minnesota-nice demeanor, and gentle touch, has earned her a reputation for putting even the most fearful of patients at ease. Her time spent practicing all areas of general dentistry along with her experience in comprehensive orthodontic treatments, including orthognathic surgeries and cleft lip and palate treatments, will offer a well-rounded perspective to her orthodontic patients at Orchin Orthodontics.

Her commitment to excellence within her profession led Dr. Bailey to recently accept a faculty position at Washington Hospital Center teaching clinical orthodontics to residents. She provides patient-specific detailed treatment plans with a deep understanding of function and esthetics, combined with a drive to give her patients the most attractive and healthiest smile. She is one of a few orthodontists certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry to provide laser treatments. She is also a member of several local and national professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, District of Columbia Dental Society, and American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association.

In her spare time, you will find Dr. Bailey playing with her beloved (and terribly spoiled) German Shepherd, Roxy, and Lab-Mix, Izzy. Additionally, her hobbies include cooking, gardening, golfing, scuba diving, and exploring the world. While she frequently visits her family in Minnesota, her "Minnesota hobbies" have included snowmobiling, all forms of skiing, fishing, ice fishing, spear fishing, and basically anything you can do on the 10,000 frozen or thawed lakes Minnesota has to offer! Also, having completed the Twin Cities Marathon, Dr. Bailey remains committed to health and fitness.
